First started in 2015 by Jenny and James Schaffer, Summer House Realty has grown with offices in both Amelia Island and Augusta, GA with over two dozen agents ready to help. Our name stems from a vintage house used to relax and cool down in the summer months, and both offices are inspired by a "flagship" design that's well worth stopping by just to visit.
And the central location on Washington Road makes it a prime venue for a certain golf tournament or your wedding shower, birthday bash, and more.
Our Augusta-based team can be found throughout the community working with their neighborhoods, schools, churches, and more. This includes continued company-wide support of Water Mission, Operation Smile, and other fundraisers that matter most to our agents.
We also train all employees and Realtors ways they can reduce waste, reserve water, and use less paper products. This includes picking up trash we find, less use of printers, and using recycled materials. It's our goal to be a "green" company in every way possible!

Water Mission is a Charleston-based water filtration non-profit that provides self-sustaining clean water projects to communities worldwide. We first heard about this non-profit when we lived in Augusta, GA and we have been blessed to be able to support them since 2018.
A portion of our agent's commissions that come back to the company are set aside to go straight to Water Mission and we present them a check annually. We also annually travel to visit their headquarters to get updates, learn how our donations make an impact, and present the latest donation.
